About FamilyCare Medical Centres
Family Medical Centres & Maternities are run by Family Health Options Kenya (FHOK) which is a national Non-Governmental Organization registered in Kenya in 1956. FHOK is committed to providing quality services and championing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and the empowerment of Kenyans to exercise and enjoy these rights. Over the years, the organization has provided leadership in offering sustainable, innovative and comprehensive services in response to health and socio-economic needs of all Kenyans, embracing gender sensitivity, collaboration and community participation in this endeavour. FHOK commands a strong grass-root network of 61 member branches with over 4,400 volunteers in 40 Sub-Counties throughout Kenya. The organisation runs 8 medical clinics branded as FHOK-Family Medical Centres & Maternities, and 6 youth friendly centres

How much is the Maternity Package both normal and CS?
The cost depends on the package and ward chosen. Normal delivery goes for Ksh. 30,900-45,000/=, or a C-section, which can range between Ksh.130,000-150,000/=. NHIF covers for 2,700/- on the daily bed rate, but if you or your spouse is a civil servant and you are registered under the card, then the cover may be more depending on what NHIF authorizes. Your insurance can also be used, but only up to the extent of your limit..
